Story views embedded in website
As you may have noticed already, the views for the full stories are not opened in a separate window anymore but embedded in the general website layout.
The newsfeeds for this website are powered by Jonah, Horde's news application. Until recently, the full stories could only be viewed inside the application, all story listings, for example in the RSS feeds, pointed to a script inside Jonah.
I extended Jonah so that you can provide link stubs for each news channel including placeholders for channel and story IDs. As a result I am now able to link the stories from the RSS feeds or the front page back to my website that displays the full story and no longer to Jonah's story view.
